Oheisessa tekstiä Ducati 1098-forumilta belgialaiselta. Työkaveri kertoi samanlaisen jutun, että Suzuki oli jäänyt tienposkeen. Mutta uskomatonta, että olivat vielä ottaneet Akran takavarikkoon!
"I am sure that most cops will not even notice the sound, simply because they aren´t instructed to go after loud sound. However, in the eifel area, especially all around the ruhrsee (Gemund, Schleiden, Nideggen) sometimes they are instructed to go after loud sounding bikes. I got pulled over and they measured the exhaust with a sonic counter. Since I had an akra on that Yamaha, i was instructed to leave the bike until STANDARD PIPES were fitted, I returnd to Belgium as a passenger on my friend bike that day. The next week I went back with standard pipes, got them installed and check by authorities, paid the bill and I was able to ride back to Belgium.
I NEVER WANT TO EXPIERENCED THAT AGAIN, WHAT A PAIN. So from now on you will only see me with a E-Approved exhaust.
Also, they kept the AKRAS. It really sucked.
